On The Road…

I am on the road again! This time I am solo acoustic. After working so much with the band, it is wierd to be playing on stage by myself for these southwest shows. I can’t say its been bad. I had the best show in Albuquerque at The SOCH this past Wed. I barely made it because my flight from Dallas to ABQ was so delayed (due to thunderstorms:( but when I walked in, the lovely Kimo Liscious was rocking the place and there was a big crowd. I jumped up right after and played a solid 2 hours because I had so much fun with them. Then I got in my car, headed for a motel and then got back on the road and now I am in Phoenix. Got a great show tonight and psyched to see some old friends:). I just wish I could keep my life in order while out of town. Need to work on that . OH! and I am solidly listening to Kings of Leon!

Just got in from a night over at Angel’s working out our vocals for next weekend’s show. We wanted to try some new harmonies and it sounds awesome. That girl can sing!
I am so excited to bring the band down to Dallas and Houston next weekend. I have been waiting to do a full band show down there for years so it will be a blast, for sure. Our friend Emily was begging us to do a video for Ellen’s Bathroom Concert Series which she plays on her show to win a chance to sing in her bathroom on the show with her. We were already working on “Stay” by Sugarland and thought it would be fun before our show at TNT’s to perform it in the bathroom there. Hope you enjoy!
I am kicked. I was sick for a while there and started to make a swing back to health but all the crap in the air and running around, I hope I am not getting sick again. I don’t know if I can look at another antibiotic after last month. Maybe I should go get some zzzzzzzzzzz’s and try to sleep it off. OK, let’s do that. Night!

yes, I am tired:(. It has been a long week for everyone I am sure and I am glad to see the weekend upon us. Think I might go see Watchmen. Looks like a very interesting movie. Also looking forward to Friday’s show at TnT’s in Tulsa. The band is getting so tight and our set lists just keeps growing. I am so proud of how far we have come in such a short time. Jimmy and Angel have really rocked it out and I am excited to see what the next chapter is for us:).
