Oh, Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree..
December 4, 2008

This is my first Christmas tree! Well, the first one I ever bought. Kinda strange considering I grew up celebrating Hanukkah. It is the biggest tree I have seen in a home so that was exciting to have. Good thing we have enough ornaments on the tree.
I have taken an interest in attending synogogue, something I haven’t done since I was a in high school. It’s wierd how you get older and take an interest back in religion. I could use a bit of that back in my life:).

A Cappella Live For World Aids Day:)
December 2, 2008
Yesterday, I had the honor of being invited to sing at Tulsa’s service observing World AIDS Day. It was amazing to be asked and I really thought hard of what song of mine would be a good choice for the service. I decided to sing, “We Are The Same” because I feel the message of the song is that we always have to give a face to something different before we can feel that we relate. This song is about getting to know someone by looking at your similiarites not your differences. I never sang a cappella so I was a bit nervous ( as you hear me say in the video) but it was a tremendous experience to be amongst the folks there and hear their stories. This was recorded by Shane at the Unity Church of Christianity where the service took place. Two news channels in Tulsa also covered the service to add to their 10pm broadcasts.
